We want to do the right thing and pay a fine crew a fine wage. Including cast.

So far all Crew have been paid their quoted fees (industry standard) and speaking actors paid. This has been financed purely from the Writer/Director's own pocket.

We can all make films on a shoestring and smile and accept praise for doing something with nothing. We've all done it before. BUT that requires a lot of free labour from a lot of people. Thus far we have recruited a lot of great and talented team members at the start of their careers and paid them a good industry standard fee for their hard work. Factor in location hire, catering, travel, and its clear this is money that needs to be made back if possible. Post production (editing, colour grading, sound design, festival entries etc.) are the next financial considerations.
