Location

After some searching, and a few false starts we have now found the perfect location for the main body of our shoot.

In deepest, darkest Bermondsey, a stones throw from Millwall's New Den stadium on Landmann Way we have almost the exact setting I envisioned when writing “Busking”.

Big echoey brick arches, with weather-beaten brickwork, beneath a working railway line. The site is an official Lewisham filming location listed on Film Hub and is local to the crew.

There are no nearby residences to disturb and one end of the street is an industrial estate, with minimal activity on the weekend making it even more convenient for shooting our film.

Unit base will be at the nearby Avalon Cafe, an old greasy spoon recently converted into an awesome arts centre, and even played host to a Bollywood film recently as a unit base.
